"I wasn't expecting too much in the way of extras. I was able to "upgrade" this box with little effort using some styrofoam, two sets of AWG5 2' battery cable pairs, some 1/4" bolts, nuts & lock washers. Now, I have easy connectors on top of the case and the batteries are operating in parallel for 12V and twice the charge. The stryofoam halted the jiggle and I can handle it without the concern of sliding or collision, inside. I recommend this dual battery marine-safe case for the avid DIYer or even for just a simple way to house/carry two type24 12V batteries."

Big enough for 2 golf cart batteries
"I used 2 of these double battery boxes to hold 4 GC2 6V batteries in my motorhome. I did it to stop corrosion of the compartment floor. The boxes were strong enough to lift when loaded with 2 golf cart batteries. I used the supplied straps through the existing slots in the floor of the compartment, directly over the batteries. I modified the lids by cutting extra slots to accommodate the extra interconnecting wires fitting the lids over the straps and wires. The covers were a snug enough to stay in place without fastening down. I also places blocks of wood to stop the batteries sliding around inside the cases as well as in the compartment."
